A student from Ryerson College in Toronto, Canada is doing a survey on cosplayers for their final assignment.

They basically want to know the general cosplays you use, as well as how you make them, and what you learned to create the cosplay.

Here is the link to the survey. It takes about 5-10 minutes to complete it.

Wow! I never really got a chance to tell you guys how awesome you are. We're up to over 500 members, all from the great white north! All the cosplays you guys have been posting are awesome. Just a reminder that you can post blogs about upcoming cons in your area. The next one I believe it DTAC for folks in Toronto, and I'll personally post that one, so no need to worry.

Also, do you think we should hold some kind of friendly contest, or theme ideas? Let us know by dropping a comment!

Hi there! I was hoping this group could help spread out the word. London, Ontario is having an Anime Cosplay Picnic on April 20th at Victoria Park run by a local anime club, and I was wondering if you guys could spread the word? Any help is appreciated! I'm the president of the club, and so any questions can be directed to me. Thanks for reading this and for your time!

Hello, My friend ~mini-mocha and I are looking for a guardian (or two) that can accompany us to Cos & Effect and Anime Revolution in Vancouver, BC, this year. If you are over 16 (for Anime Revolution) and you are able to attend and are willing to look after us, (We're good little kids!) please NOTE/ E-MAIL me ASAP.

Mocha-chan is currently 11 and will be thirteen by the conventions, and I am currently 12 and I will be thirteen. We will both (most likely) be cosplaying at both conventions.

If you can help us with this, we would deeply appreciate it, and I thank you very much. I'm posting up this request because even though I can go to the conventions by myself, my friend Mocha-chan will need a parent/ guardian over 16. This is going to be our first time at a convention, and we both are looking forward to it. This means a lot to us if we can both go to the conventions.
My email: catluvrz101@live.cn
Thank you for you help everyone,
-Echo/Silver

P.S. Did I make this a bit too long? Sorry, I tend to drone on a little bit and not pay attention to how much I write. ALSO! DO NOT TELL MINI-MOCHA ABOUT THIS YET!!! I want to keep it a secret and surprise her with the fact that she can go to both conventions as her birthday present!

Does anyone know a legit site to order a Hatsune Miku wig? Preferably one that is not too expensive. Please note me if you know of one. Thanks!

www.epiccosplay.com They have a Miku wig, it's about $60 but it is tangle resistant. I have a bunch of wigs that are 60" plus from them and the tangles shake right out of the wigs.

Greetings fellow cosplayers!

I was wondering, has anyone ever used LED lights in their cosplay(s)? If so, how do you hook them up, where do you normally put the on/off switch, and is it easy to do so? Also, does it make the costume a lot hotter?

LED's don't produce any heat, which is why they don't burn out like a regular bulb.
They can run off a small battery for quite awhile, the strips I buy for accent lighting on my car comes powered with 5 of those small watch like batteries. If your building from scratch you may need to look into a resistors depending on the led. Running the LEd's in parallel produces a brighter light then in series. But that's about all I know, I've never built them from scratch
